How Best Ball Works
- Pick 4 Golfers: Select 4 golfers from the field within the salary cap
- Best Score Counts: On each hole, your score is the best (lowest) score among your 4 golfers
- 18 Holes × 4 Rounds: Best ball scoring applies to all 72 holes
- Lowest Wins: The player with the lowest total best ball score wins!

Visit the "My Lineup" tab and pick 4 golfers within the $100 salary cap before Round 1 tees off.

🎯 How Best Ball Works
During each round of the 4 Majors, your 4 golfers compete as a team. On each hole, only your best score counts.
Your team's total score across all 4 rounds determines your standing.
👥 Picking Your Team
📅 Two Lineups Per Major
- Rounds 1-2: Submit before Thursday tee times
- Rounds 3-4: Submit before Saturday tee times
After cuts, you can change all 4 golfers, keep the same, or mix and match!
💵 Salary Cap Rules
- Total lineup value cannot exceed $100
- Values update before each major
- Minimum golfer value: $15
- No carrying over unused cap between lineups
💸 The Bogey Pot
If your team records a bogey or worse on any hole (all 4 golfers bogey+), you owe $5 to the pot.
At season's end, the top 3 players with the most eagles split the pot:
Eagle tiebreakers: Most albatrosses → Most hole-in-ones
🏆 Prizes
Final payouts depend on total entries. Prizes awarded for:

Season Standings
- Lowest total score from any single major
- Lowest single round from any major
- Most eagles for the year
- Better worst major score

📋 Other Rules
🏥 Withdrawals
If a golfer withdraws before their tee time, you may replace them with any golfer of equal or lesser value before that new golfer tees off.
If they WD mid-round, you can replace them for the next day but not the current round.
It's YOUR responsibility to track your golfers' status!
🚨 Emergency Backup
If you're unsure a golfer will make their tee time, text the commissioner a "backup" golfer who will only enter your lineup if the original can't play.
